Not a day goes by where I am not enticed and enriched by today's photography. I find photography to embody an explosion of beauty and class. Photography may be veiled in opinion and thought, freedom held in each pixel and grain and, is where the subconscious mind prays on the conscious, in the process of artistic creation. I was first introduced to photography by my father, around the age of twelve at our family cottage. Roaming around our four generation old island, I soon discovered my love affair with landscapes, portraits and my father's 1970s Pentex SLR. When I reached high school I began my training in traditional Black and White. I went onto study Visual Art at York University earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts Specialized Honours Degree and graduated on the Dean's Honour Roll with a discipline in Photography.
